Every year, close to 4,000 people gather in the Mojave Desert for a 5 day 'Mad Max' style party in the desert called Wasteland Weekend. I head out there from the UK with a pile of kit each year on the official ground and aerial video team for the event and it’s an absolute blast. Here is a video that I led and features a lot my camera work. Music video edited for Heavy Broken Machines performing; 'We Are Here'. As the band are currently spread over the UK and outside under various degrees of Covid lockdown and have been producing new music remotely. This video was created using a mixture of stock footage to carry the overall messages of the song, then footage shot from the band under their original name 'Crisis' in the 1990's.
